The Start of a New Blog

Ah, blogs.

or as my sister and I might say, blogs and blogs and blogs and cheese.

I think the last time I blogged was during study abroad in Ireland to keep folks posted on my adventures - so, fourish years ago now. As a recap, Ireland was delightful: saw lots of fun stuff, met neat people, discovered partner Krista who I'm still with. All in all, quite successful.

The years since then have been interesting in their own unique ways. Every year is a delicate snowflake, each with its own strengths and peculiarities - it's not nice to just brush some aside as not as good as others. You'll hurt their feelings.

So now I'm starting this blog, The many musings of, and I'm not too terribly sure what I'll be putting up here. Selected adventures perhaps, some of my mathematical ideas/ways of looking at things very likely, selected philosophical thoughts, the occasional poem, links to things I find interesting or funny or what have you maybe with commentary, the hopefully very occasional emotional outburst I will later regret posting. Things along those lines, I suppose.

I, like many people, have the habit of starting a blog, and then neglecting to keep it up. I think I started two other blogs at some point before the Ireland blog that fell into disuse and obscurity. The goal, of course, on this one, will be to not have that happen. Any encouragement is appreciated. :)
